The station is only a five minute walk away, and there are several restaurants nearby. It’s still a peaceful hotel in a lovely village, about 40 minutes from cologne. The rooms were comfortable, the wifi worked well, and breakfast was enjoyable. The owners and staff were lovely. I hope I can come back!

We stopped for lunch on a sunny, busy day and ate out on the terrace. The food was really, really good, and the team made us feel welcome. We hope to come back.

We spent three lovely nights at Korf Gastehaus, with its traditional rooms, comfy beds, warm showers, tasty breakfast, and lovely service. The location was excellent for cycling: we hired mountain bikes in a nearby village and rode north, south, and across the Rhine, taking in the views and architecture. We could charge the bikes at the guesthouse and set off ready for each day. It’s a great place to stay. If you’re looking for party central, this isn’t it, but it’s a lovely starting point for getting a taste of German life.

A clean, quiet, kid-friendly family hotel with a great breakfast. Having free parking was a big bonus.
