Ringhotel Katharinen Hof

The hotel is near both the train station and city center, with lots of shops close by. It has a restaurant for dinner and supper, plus a small gym, a massage room, and three clean, new types of sauna. The rooms are big, clean, and have comfortable beds. Staff are usually kind and helpful. I’d definitely recommend it.

There’s no WiFi in the rooms, only at reception and in the restaurant, and even there only at certain times. That makes it less suited to business stays. The room was spacious and very quiet despite being across the street from the train station. Breakfast was good and plentiful, with all the expected German food. The covered car park is handy, though the spaces are tight.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The accommodations were great, the staff extremely friendly, and the restaurant did a very good morning breakfast. The servers were efficient and accommodating. We were on the church side; the only noise was church bells ringing early in the morning for quite a few minutes. If that doesn’t bother you, choose that side. We’re used to having ice in America, and the staff always handled our frequent requests with a smile.

The food was delicious, and the staff were positive and helpful. The whole building was immaculate. Thanks for a brief stay yesterday, I look forward to coming back.
