We liked it so much that we came back two nights in a row. The food was really tasty, home style and clearly made with care. The Forel was great, as was the deer goulash with cream and cranberries. They also took good care of our daughter.

Frau Stürner was really kind and looked after us well. Our room was spotless, with three single beds and a mezzanine, and the decor had a traditional feel. WiFi worked okay. The hotel sits in a quiet little valley in the forest, with two other traditionally built hotels nearby. Just keep in mind that Monday and Tuesday are Ruhetag, so we walked to the other hotel nearby for dinner.

Set in the forest, the hotel has fresh air and a peaceful atmosphere, and we spotted some animals nearby. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the staff were kind, friendly, and helpful. Parking is free, and there’s a restaurant too. Breakfast was okay, but the Wi-Fi wasn’t very good.

A quiet, comfortable hotel in a lovely wooded setting, with very nice people. It was just right for my visit to relatives in a nearby village.
