Ferienhaus Gut Landleben

We were so happy to find this enchanting place. It’s beautifully styled, tasteful, high-quality, and clean, with a conservatory and grounds that are hard to capture in a magazine. You hardly want to leave the apartment. It’s a place to feel completely at ease, with nature and total peace all around, plus a swimming pond. Children are welcome, even if they’re sometimes noisy, and dogs are welcome even when they get wet. The huge winter garden is lovely too. Congratulations to everyone who created and opened this place for vacationers. We’ll gladly come back.

The garden is huge and there’s plenty of space inside the beautiful house as well. The only drawback for us was the 100-liter hot water boiler, which is too small. It’s quite far from the hot spots, so you need a car.

It’s a beautiful property, clearly renovated and furnished with care, but sadly it feels neglected. We appreciated the accommodation, yet found several problems. The advertised swimming pond was a dirty sewage pond. The veranda hadn’t been cleaned and had spiders, bat, and bird droppings, while the grill was falling apart. It seems there isn’t enough proper management to keep the place in good shape. I wouldn’t recommend it for small children, since things like the pond and veranda railing are hardly fenced or made child-safe. Our complaints and suggestions for improvement didn’t get a receptive response from Usedom-Travel. One quick tip: if the place is dilapidated when you arrive, ask for a follow-up cleaning straight away and avoid using the swing.

The atmosphere is relaxed, and everyone is always friendly and very nice. There’s a huge winter garden with a fireplace, no library, and a broad choice of wines in every price range. There’s also a sauna, garden, and small natural swimming area. I’d happily come back again and again.
