Hotel zwei&vierzig

Private parking right in front of the hotel was perfect, and breakfast was included and very good for the price. I booked a single room but got a queen bed made up of two separate mattresses, which was comfortable enough. There was also a desk, chair, and TV. The bathroom was small but clean and worked fine. Simple and inexpensive, just right for an overnight stay.

There’s a train track nearby, and freight trains run at night. Getting into Koblenz by car is quick, and public transport stops right outside. The staff were helpful, and breakfast was reasonable. The rooms were clean and simple, though a little dated. An average hotel.

It’s within walking distance of Vallendar, with most amenities close by, and being next to the Rhine is nice if you want to run along the river in the morning or evening. The rates are reasonable, and it can be a decent option when everywhere else in Vallendar is booked up. Renovations were going on constantly and made quite a bit of noise. It’s also beside a busy highway, which adds to the noise.

The food was good, and there were some good TVs and a decent wardrobe. The beds were comfy enough, but the showers were crappy. The waitress looks like Anthony's mum.
