Bauernhof Sauer - Wiesenblick

The Sauer family are welcoming hosts, and the farm is a short walk from the restaurants, the center of Dangast, and the beach. The holiday apartments are comfortable and spacious enough for a family. There’s plenty for children to do, with a playground, trampoline, and foosball table, and the farm has cows, chickens, and cats too.

The accommodation was spotless and had everything we needed. On arrival, our granddaughter was given a jar of jam and six eggs, and we were shown around Heuerhus and the farm with clear explanations. Any issue, large or small, was dealt with right away. Our granddaughter Leah loved the playground beside the house. We fed and admired the chickens, collected eggs, and greeted the farm dog each morning and said goodbye each evening. We visited with her at the beginning of April 2024. Dangast has a lot to offer visitors of every age, even when the weather is bad, as it unfortunately was during our stay. It was a wonderful experience all around, and we’ll definitely return.

The farm shop is beautiful, with a huge selection for children. We stayed in a great holiday home and Mrs. Sauer gave us a very friendly welcome.

We had a wonderful week at the Sauer farm. The apartment was clean and very well equipped, especially the kitchen, and the landlady was lovely. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the sea. The kids had lots to keep them busy: a playground, trampoline, plenty of ride-on toys that were admittedly a bit dated, and a hay bale castle. They also got to feed the cows and chickens.
