Hotel Am Pferdezentrum

The little extras made this hotel stand out for me: water in the room, a toothbrush and toothpaste if you'd forgotten yours, and even food for pets. The price for what you get is among the best I've come across. Rooms are spacious, the staff are friendly, and breakfast has plenty of fresh fruit and cheeses, plus good coffee. A couple of things to keep in mind: there's no air conditioning, though that didn't matter on our December trip, and our room had carpet, which might not suit some people with allergies. We stopped here on the way to Scandinavia, and it's about 12 minutes from the Autobahn, a little farther than ideal.

We stopped overnight on the way from Denmark to Belgium, and the hotel worked really well for that. Parking was easy, breakfast was good, and the team were friendly and helpful. The room and hotel were clean and comfortable.

The town of Vechta wasn't especially charming, but the hotel was very good. It's not far from A1, and the room was excellent, with nice staff and plenty to choose from at breakfast. I had a pleasant one-night stay and slept well.

The breakfast was still fresh and well stocked even though we arrived late in the service, and the staff were so friendly. Our room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and having two single duvets on a double bed worked really well. We slept great. Getting there from the motorway was easy. We checked in very late because of traffic and roadworks, but the email explaining the late arrival process made it simple, so there was no need to worry. We'd be delighted to stay again on our next road trip from the UK.
