The library is a perfect place to unwind. The rooms are very clean, and the breakfast buffet is great. This isn’t like the standard North American hotel chain you might be used to. If you’re after atmosphere, peace and a place to head out walking, hiking or jogging, this is it. I’ve been coming back for 20 years, and it’s well worth it.

Right by the Main river, this is a quiet gem. The staff were super friendly and very accommodating. I loved that it’s certified organic, and the library room is gorgeous. The rooms were clean and the beds comfy, too. We had a very enjoyable stay.

The location is amazing, and our room was quiet, so we’ll return. We booked rooms for ourselves and a friend, and they were flexible about letting him join us for breakfast even though he wasn’t a hotel guest. He paid for his meal, of course, 16 euro. The rooms were clean and tidy, but the curtains didn’t really block the sunlight, so bring a sleep mask if that bothers you. Breakfast logistics were the letdown. We had to ask for everything because food wasn’t replenished, and when it was, they brought only tiny amounts. The hotel was fully booked, too.

The staff were helpful and friendly, and breakfast was well organized with enough options. Our room was spacious enough, quiet and absolutely clean. We could also use the beautiful garden during breakfast.

A few charming cafes and a biergarten are just steps away. We enjoyed drinks by the beautiful river, then a stroll through the lovely town. Hotel am Main is perfectly located, clean and friendly, and breakfast was plentiful. I’d stay here again.
