Our room was spacious and comfortable, with an ensuite bathroom, and everything was extremely clean and well presented. Breakfast had a lovely selection, and parking was right outside. Sabine, thanks for helping us when our booking through an agent hadn't been confirmed but we showed up anyway. You and the staff made it a wonderful stay. Absolutely five stars in my eyes. Can't wait to come back, and thanks again, Sabine and everyone. x

The restaurant was a highlight for me, with tasty, satisfying options at breakfast and dinner. Hotel Angerer is simple but comfortable, and it had everything I needed for a pleasant stay in Vilseck. Its spot in town makes it easy to get to restaurants and bars, and it's conveniently near the US Army Base. A good value if you're after a no-frills place in a convenient location.

I arrived after the desk hours, but the staff were still very accommodating. It's close to the train station and in the town square, and the price was very reasonable. Breakfast was decent, though it costs extra, 8€.

Online booking made arranging a place overseas easier despite the language barrier, and the staff speak English. There's a restaurant in the building that provides free breakfast and also serves dinner. It's at the end of a slightly busy street in a small town, with a short walk to a local castle and several pubs and restaurants. It doesn't have the amenities you'd get at a large chain, though hair dryers were available. Knowing that, I still found it well worth staying.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, and a great menu of tasty homemade entrees. Gasthaus zum Hirschen is family owned, and they'll take care of you. It has all the amenities of big city hotels, and to me it's the best hotel and restaurant in the Vilseck bayrische area. A must stop when you're in Vilseck Germany.
