Igluhut Tiny House Winterberghof

We felt right at home in the igloo hut. It’s a very clean, cozy little house with beautiful furnishings and everything you need for a few relaxing days, including a full bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and even breakfast in the fridge. The host was very friendly. Thank you :)

The surrounding area has lots to do. We brought our bikes and could park easily right in front of the Igluhut, and places like Linachtalsperre are worth a visit. You can also pick mushrooms, cycle, and hike. We stayed three weeks ago for a long weekend, and the IgluHut was really cute and beautifully furnished. It had a full bathroom, a very comfortable bed, and a small kitchen with everything we needed. Thomas was kind and friendly, and checked several times whether everything was okay or if we needed anything else for breakfast. It would have been perfect with regional products such as Schwarzwaldmilch, but that’s a very minor complaint.

The tiny house is beautifully set in the Black Forest and has everything two people need for a weekend away, all in a compact space. On our departure day, a snowstorm left us stuck right beside the house. The host kindly came with his tractor and cleared a path to the main road. Thank you so much! :)

The area is gorgeous, right in the middle of nature, and wonderfully quiet, so it’s easy to switch off. The Igluhut itself is beautiful and very clean. It’s a little small, but really cozy, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was plentiful: instead of serving it, they stock the fridge and you help yourself, which we liked. If anything was missing, we could let the host know. He was very kind and helpful. We’ll be back.
