The room was clean and comfortable, the restaurant food was good, breakfast was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Still, the lack of air conditioning or even a fan made the stay uncomfortable in 90-degree heat and high humidity. It cooled down after 10 pm with the window wide open, but then we could hear the street. The church bell nearby also rang at exactly 7 am and woke us up. I’d stay again outside summer, but next time I’ll look harder.

We stayed in the annexe and were impressed by the lovely rooms and small balcony. The shower was amazing, and breakfast this morning was lovely too. The staff were really friendly, and I’d highly recommend it. It’s in a very small place, though, so there isn’t much to do close by.

The owners really care about their guests, and the service was excellent. We had a great stay in comfortable rooms, with plenty of fresh food at breakfast and homemade jams. The blueberry jam was the best ever! We enjoyed dinner too, along with a delicious cocktail 🍹. Super recommended.

This was my first trip to Germany, and I was disappointed with this stay. We arrived an hour early, and she seemed really bothered, made us wait outside for 20 minutes, and said she’d come down when she could. When I asked if she spoke English, she sternly said no. I spoke in English anyway, and somehow she understood me and could speak it too. She wasn’t friendly at all. The bed was fairly comfortable, but the pillows and towels weren’t, and breakfast was just okay. We decided to leave early. At check-in she gives you a coupon book for discounts in the area. As we were leaving, I told my husband I couldn’t find one of them. She chased us down and demanded them back, then charged me $5.00 because I couldn’t find it. I understand she may be responsible for the books, but she was rude, nasty, and unfriendly the whole time. I would never stay again!
