Everything was nice and clean, and the room was comfortable. I did have to go looking for the receptionist. Breakfast was good, and my personal highlight was soaking in a warm bathtub.

The hotel has been closed since 2020 and is gradually falling into disrepair, even though they've been promising it would open 'soon' for the past two years. The restaurant used to be very good, with a manager who was genuinely open and approachable. Those five service points are just a nostalgic memory now.

The setting was pleasant and quiet, and both the room and bathroom were very spacious. Everything was spotless, and the huge breakfast had everything, seafood included. The staff were friendly. You do need to speak German, though English may be spoken too, but I'm not sure. Highly recommended.
