The staff were incredible, the food was wonderful, and the location worked perfectly for us. Our room and the hotel amenities felt state of the art while still being environmentally conscious. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. It was a blissfully relaxing stay. Thank you!

The check-in window is a little tight, but it worked out fine. This is a lovely small hotel, with beautiful rooms finished to a high standard. The courtyard and parking were a real plus, and the rosé secco too. I’d definitely recommend it.

Breakfast was spot on, with lots of homemade food and organic ingredients. The service was great and the staff were friendly. It feels personal, and it’s right in the center of an authentic town.

The courtyard and breakfast both felt magical, and the suite was modern and beautifully furnished. You can see how much care and money went into the remodel. Eva welcomed us when we arrived, showed us the breakfast area, and then took us to our suite. My husband and I had an incredible stay at Das Hochrein. I’d return to Volkach just to stay here again. Thanks, Eva, for such a great visit!

We’ll come back. The old house has been renovated with real taste, and its location in the old town is central. The rooms are modern and immediately feel comfortable. Parking behind the house costs €10 per day, and they’ve even installed mosquito nets, which is a thoughtful touch and sadly rare in newly renovated hotels. One small disappointment at breakfast: there was no fresh fruit. Fruit salad doesn’t work well for someone with an apple allergy.
