Breakfast drinks were a bit of a hassle since you have to order them. A self-serve option would make that easier. The rooms were lovely and very clean, and the food was nice, though there wasn’t much choice.

The village is lovely, but there isn’t a single shop, so it gets a bit boring. At the hotel, the rooms are fantastic and everything is very clean. After that, things go downhill: the food is very basic and poor, with a take-it-or-leave-it attitude. The bar is badly stocked, and the staff aren’t friendly or even smiling. The TV has 26 channels, all in German and none in English. Are we welcome? A whole coach seemed to feel the same way I did.

You can offer criticism or ideas for improvement, but they seem completely unwilling to hear them. Every complaint just bounces off them, like dirt off a lotus leaf.

The adjoining building wasn’t so good. The rooms were nice, though, and the view at both sunrise and sunset was lovely.
