The food itself was good, but the service was really poor for a restaurant at these prices. We were the only guests, yet our lunch for 13 took around two hours for one course and payment. There weren't enough menus for everyone, things moved slowly, and the waiter kept forgetting who was who in our group, even when only one person was being served between visits. I ordered a pizza and asked for the sausage to be replaced because I'm vegetarian. I said “vegetarian” at least twice, but the pizza arrived with sausage as well as the replacement. When the waiter realized the mistake, he offered to throw it out and make another. I didn't want the meat wasted and said I'd eat it, since I'm not dogmatic about it. He came back twice, interrupting our conversations, to offer a free second pizza, as if I couldn't enjoy the meat despite my ethical concerns. If you have plenty of time and no special requests, it may be OK. Otherwise, the service is bad for such an expensive restaurant.

So far, this is the best restaurant I know. The food is good quality, and the service made me feel welcome. I'd recommend the pasta with cream sauce alongside a nice white wine.

The rooms are spacious and the hotel is clean. The staff are super nice, and the pizza I tried was delicious. Prices are reasonable too. I'd go back.

A good Italian place with good food and still reasonable prices, especially for such a tiny village in Saarland.

The staff are kind, the atmosphere is nice, and the food and wine are great.
