The atmosphere was great, and the food was delicious, especially the local venison. I didn't stay overnight, so I can't comment on the rooms.

Everything was neat and orderly, and the staff were especially kind. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed our two nights there. Breakfast was delicious too. Thank you 😊

Getting snacks from a store really calls for a car. There is a hiking trail less than five minutes from the accommodation, though it's quite a challenge for a beginner: 13 km with some steep climbs and descents. The rooms and accommodation were clean and more spacious than I'd expected. The beds were very comfortable; my companion said he hadn't slept on one that comfortable in a long time. The staff were friendly and good with dogs. Breakfast was basic, but you could choose coffee and ask for a boiled or fried egg, or an omelette. Mine was really tasty. On the last day, they also offered us extra food to take along.

After coming to Germany for business for 30 years, I can say this is among the best food I've had here. The rooms were spotless, and the staff were attentive and friendly. This place is excellent.

A handy spot for excursions by Dagstuhl participants, and a good one. The people are friendly, and they serve regional cake and drinks. You can pay by card, and it's possible to reserve ahead.
