The setting at Bachofer, right on the historic Marktplatz in the heart of Waiblingen, made for a memorable evening. The old town around it is beautiful and sets a special mood. We had great drinks, including hot spiced red wine that was just right for the atmosphere. The hospitality was exceptional. Anna-Mea was warm, professional and genuinely attentive. The owner, Mr.Bernd Bachofe, came out personally to greet guests and chat with friends and patrons, which felt welcoming and authentic. Great location at Marktplatz 6. Highly recommended.

We'd called Koy Shunka in Barcelona our number one Asian restaurant so far, but now we've found bachofer close to home. What an amazing Asian-style fine dining place, with a super friendly team and incredible food. My wife and I will be back in four weeks!

Could I give you five Michelin stars? I've never had a dinner plate made so quickly that still had so many flavors to enjoy. My tongue experienced a whole new level of love. Thank you, Sir Bachofer, for personally creating such an exotic explosion on my plate! 🤍

The open kitchen was right beside my bar seat, so I could watch the chef seasoning the dishes. The food was brilliantly presented, and the service was attentive. Don’t skip the signature Hanoi drink.
