The balcony upstairs was a lovely extra, and I especially enjoyed the breakfast view. My room was clean and the bathroom spotless. The owner was really accommodating too. I mentioned I’d forgotten my power adaptor, and he brought one up for me to borrow. That’s great service. I’d highly recommend staying here.

The payment situation was the worst part. They only take cash, and the staff tried to charge me Booking.com rates even though I’d booked directly with the hotel. They said their website prices were outdated because of the pandemic, so they were charging the Booking.com prices instead. I’ve never run into anything like that, and I strongly advise against staying here. The whole building smelled of stale cigarette smoke. The bathroom towels were musty, the soap dispenser was filthy, and dirty condensation kept dripping from the ceiling. Breakfast was just white rolls, with no alternatives at all. I absolutely can’t recommend this hotel. If comfort and cleanliness matter to you, definitely don’t stay here.

The rooms were large and clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Dogs are allowed. It worked for an overnight stop while passing through, but the hotel is very dated and the rooms are noisy. Breakfast was very basic, and it’s cash only.
