The seasonal food was fresh and delicious. The waitress was so sweet and really friendly with the kids.

The food itself was good, but the service was absolutely unacceptable. We’d booked a table in advance, yet they didn’t seem to have our reservation and seated us at a table meant for twice as many people. Menus came half an hour later, then our drinks took 45 minutes from arrival. The food took longer still, and some of the sauces didn’t show up until we were halfway through eating. Three stars for the food, minus three for the service and staff. It wasn’t a good experience, and I’m unlikely to come back.

A favourite stop on a walking or biking tour. They stay open through the afternoon, and the fresh German food is delicious. The wines are tasty too.

The service was pleasant, and the food was fantastic. The meat was cooked perfectly.
