Scherfsmuhle Am Muhlbach

The cider was top-notch, and the hosts were so friendly. It's in a great spot right by the river :)

We used the house as a base for hiking and exploring more of Germany and Luxembourg, and my girlfriend and I had a great time. Mr. Scherf is wonderfully kind, and I've rarely stayed somewhere so clean. He also makes wine, which is always a bonus. The bakery around the corner gets a 9.5 from us, with fantastic food at reasonable prices. Don't hesitate, just book here.

Such a relaxing spot, both inside the apartment and in the surrounding area. The furnishings are cozy, with regional and traditional touches, and the hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful. Even if you don't know the area, it's easy to get around without the stress of planning everything. We'd love to come back :-)

We stayed in the Stork's Nest apartment, and the little roof terrace was a nice feature. The mill has three holiday apartments and sits among meadows, woods, and vineyards, so it feels very peaceful. Public transport makes getting around easy. There's a great outdoor pool in the next town, and you can take the train from Trier to places like Luxembourg and Saarburg. The owners are friendly.
