10/10
I stayed in a single room, and everything was provided. The only thing I missed was air conditioning, which would have been great on a 30-degree day. The staff were capable and spoke fluent English, a plus in Germany. The price was on the low side these days, with breakfast included for under €100, and they even deducted a service that had been booked by mistake.

The countryside location was good, and breakfast itself was superb. The room was okay, though reception staff weren’t very friendly. The breakfast staff were much warmer. Prices felt high, so I’d give it 3 out of 5.

Lovely surroundings for a morning run, good food, and nice rooms. The staff gave splendid service, and I was very satisfied with my stay. I’d come back if I get the chance.

10/10
The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast buffet had plenty to choose from. The kitchen serves good traditional German food, sometimes with an Italian touch, using regional ingredients. It’s very quiet and just a short distance from the motorway. For this price range, it’s actually the best hotel I know in Germany.

Our family loved staying at Forellenhof Walsrode. Everyone at the hotel was incredibly helpful, and the restaurant served amazing food and drinks. The cabin was spacious and well equipped. Weltvogelpark, one of the world’s largest bird parks, is just minutes away.
