I really liked the location, with a view of the church, and there's a large park nearby to visit. The restaurant staff were on vacation, so I can't comment on the restaurant. The hotel itself was extraordinary, with a historic exterior and modern rooms inside, including big bathrooms. It was the kind of experience I'd been looking for for a long time :)

We got coffee and bottled sparkling water, and our room was super clean and quiet, even with our baby being the loudest little person in the building 😅. They'd even put a huge cot in the room, although we hadn't asked for one because we'd brought ours. That really showed how much they care about guests. The staff were very friendly, and we found a parking spot the hotel provided right below our window. There's a restaurant and bar too, with friendly people around. For what we paid, it was a bargain, and the place has been refurbished to a four-star standard at a two-star price. Just one thing I forgot to ask before leaving: why was there an extra €8 on top of the Booking price? Could it have been a tourist tax? The receipt showed a single amount for the room only. We'd gladly book here again on our next trip.

I've never felt so welcome at a hotel. The staff were so kind, the room was clean, and the food was perfect. I'd recommend the hotel and restaurant to anyone!
