Hotel Deichinsel

We left feeling relaxed after finding this cozy hotel in such a peaceful, idyllic spot. Breakfast in the conservatory was excellent, and our room was both nicely furnished and practical.

Hotel Deichinsel turned out to be just right for my girlfriend and me as a peaceful base for bike rides and other activities. We could set off on short or longer cycling routes right from the hotel, and a brief walk brought us to the outer dike with a sea view. Our e-bikes could be stored and charged under cover, and there was plenty of parking for cars. Our room and bathroom were spacious and clean. The comfortable beds were joined by a refrigerator and kettle, which we found very handy. Breakfast had a good buffet, and if anything was missing, we only had to ask and it was brought over. We also liked the pleasant atmosphere in the conservatory where breakfast was served. The owners, Mr. and Mrs. Stoppe, were the biggest plus. They were naturally warm, open, and helpful, and we felt welcome from the start. We had many nice conversations with them during our stay. We're certain we'll come back. It was wonderful.

The place has a lovely atmosphere, surrounded by nature and wonderfully peaceful. The hostess and staff were all friendly. Our room was attractively furnished and spotless, with comfortable beds, freshly scented towels, and a large refrigerator. The bathroom was spacious and had two windows. Breakfast was generous, fresh, and nicely laid out, a welcome change from some of the big hotel chains. Accessibility mattered to me because of my mobility impairment, and it worked very well here: short distances and a walk-in shower made things easy.

We could properly unwind during our short break at Hotel Deichinsel, thanks to the peaceful location. Getting around by bike was easy, and the service was attentive. Breakfast was relaxed and generous. Many thanks to the hosts, we'd happily recommend a stay.
