The sauna in the garden was a real highlight, especially in autumn and winter. There’s also a small garden, pets are allowed, and it’s quiet and modern. We felt at home from the first minute. It’s tastefully furnished and has everything you could want for a week away. There’s plenty of internet bandwidth for anyone who needs to work, even for Teams or WebEx calls. A mini outdoor shower would make it even better 😀. We’d love to return.

The lake is beautiful and ideal for walks, and the house is very dog-friendly. It’s also a perfect base for heading in any direction. We had a wonderful long weekend with friends in this cozy house, which had everything we needed. The fireplace came to the rescue on Thursday during the snowstorm. One small thing: please replace the vacuum cleaner. This one doesn’t work at all.

Lake Wangermeer and its sandy shore are only a two-minute walk away, and the North Sea is a ten-minute drive. The village has all the shops you need, even on Sundays. It’s a fantastic location, and the house is wonderful, tastefully furnished, and has all the amenities you could want. It makes relaxing easy :)
