We enjoyed ourselves so much that we're back just six weeks later, and we're already looking forward to another visit. Everything has been to our satisfaction: the rooms are lovely and clean, and breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The two owners are very friendly and work hard to make guests happy. This is my third visit, and I've always felt comfortable here. Both hosts are friendly and accommodating, and they have pleasant conversations with their guests. It's a quiet, small guesthouse with fair prices, a nice place to relax. The sea is only a few minutes away, and there are several nearby towns with attractions. Many thanks to both hosts. I'll definitely return for a fourth stay.

My review is still up on Booking.com. This is the host’s response to it, and it felt like they didn’t dare discuss openly how they deal with feedback. They say the guesthouse is for ordinary people, not the upper class, and that their regulars are happy with the peace, family atmosphere, and fair prices. They argue that taste is subjective, and that anyone with higher expectations should choose a luxury hotel, where they can pay for luxury and make demands. They also suggest that people who choose a cheaper place out of greed shouldn’t complain about comfort, and ask where I could find a room meeting my requirements for €50. Then Monika Schulz says she thanks God I won’t be back, and asks God to protect them from guests like me. She says criticism like mine leaves her drained and unwilling to carry on, despite trying hard and using her resources to make guests comfortable. She wishes me all the best.
