At the Intermodellbau fair I picked up a nice Acme set. The staff were helpful, and there was a good range of stock. Thanks!

Another precision mechanic managed to repair my LGB locomotive, converted to Gauge 2, in just a few hours. This dealer had estimated four weeks, then added several more when I asked. At pickup, I was told it couldn't be repaired because it couldn't be disassembled. They should have spotted that when they accepted it.

They have everything I need for Spur N in stock, or get it ordered quickly. And when something goes wrong, they help without making a fuss. Really good advice, too.

I felt ripped off at the trade fair. I paid €100 for a Minitrix tank car set at the Stuttgart fair on November 21st, supposedly a special edition priced at €120. At home I noticed every car had the same running number, which is a no-go at that price, and they were from the Hobby series. The RRP was €19.99 per car, though shops had them for €16.89.

Picked up a Märklin-Lok at their stand at the Modellbaumesse in FN. The goods were faultless, and the people looking after the stand were really friendly. I'd buy there again.
