The town center is only 7 minutes away, with its marina and tour boats, restaurants, museums, and a huge walkplatz full of shops. There are also plenty of paths for walking and cycling around the area. It's a nice, quiet place to stay, and I'd definitely come back. The hotel staff greeted me with a smile each day, and my room was comfortable and kept clean. Breakfast is served daily, though it's best to check when lunch and dinner are available. If possible, a small fan in the rooms would be welcome on those long, hot summer days and nights.

I had a relaxing vacation here. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to answer questions. The hotel has a beautiful view, and breakfast was good with lots of variety, including homemade marmalade.

From the restaurant terrace you can watch birds over the fields by the lake, and there's even a pair of binoculars on the counter. The hotel sits in a quiet part of town, right on the edge of Müritz National Park, with Waren marina about 2 kilometers away by a pleasant walk. The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff are friendly and very professional, and the restaurant is nice. A perfect spot for a holiday close to nature.

It's very nice and quiet, but you really need a car to enjoy it fully. Public transport is a catastrophe.

Read the fine print carefully before booking here. We made a spontaneous reservation through the hotel's website while on our way to Waren, then had to turn back less than an hour later because of a family emergency. I called straight away to explain we couldn't make the trip. The hotel charged my credit card a cancellation fee of 50% of the full price, which seems unreasonable for a cancellation so soon after booking. With our arrival date, they couldn't have rented the room to someone else, and they hadn't done anything to cover the cancellation. I would have thought the cost of one night was fair for a no-show, especially with such short notice. I asked if they could offer a goodwill gesture because of the large charge. They said cancellations are usually charged at 80%, and that they'd already given me some compensation.
