Hotel Harmonie

Please note that check-in closes in the late afternoon. The hotel is a wonderful little place, with a classic, tasteful interior in a building that was a girls' school 150 years ago. The team and owners are lovely, and breakfast is great.

We were comfortable here and would happily come back. The hotel is an old girls' school, which makes for an interesting setting, and the lakefront location is hard to beat: the pedestrian zone starts right outside, restaurants are close by, and it’s a good base for exploring the countryside. Our room and bathroom were both very large. Some of the antique-style furniture could use attention, and there weren’t many outlets near the bed. Breakfast had plenty of choice, the staff were friendly and helpful, and unwinding in the saunas in the evening was just right. It was our first visit to Waren, and we were pleasantly surprised.

We spent a week at Hotel Harmonie and came away very happy. The Müritz is right across the way, and the old town begins just outside the hotel. The room, breakfast buffet, and service were all great. We’d recommend it without hesitation.

The service was good, and everyone was very friendly. Our room was large, nice, and clean, though the place is styled to look old. The TV seating is awkward, set at a right angle, and the walls feel a little bare and cold without pictures or anything. A few spots could have been cleaner too, like the hallway ceiling light.
