10/10
The people working here were a real highlight. They were attentive, always willing to help, and made the stay much more enjoyable. Okelmann's Hotel also has a lovely sauna and jacuzzi for unwinding, though a way to heat the jacuzzi water would improve that experience. I could've used a few more towels as well. Breakfast was delicious and surprisingly generous for a German hotel. There’s lots of parking, which was handy for arriving by car. My room was spacious and cleaned thoroughly every day, so it was easy to relax there. The property is beautifully kept, from the garden to the facilities, and the location is stunning. Despite those small room for improvement, I found the stay comfortable and relaxing, and would happily recommend Okelmann's Hotel.

After seven hours on the road, I arrived to find there was no room available, even though I had booked and paid and had the booking confirmation. I had to look for somewhere else to stay. They'd contacted me through the app instead of calling, and although they could have stopped the money transfer, they didn't.
