The rooms were decent, and it was handy being able to open the windows without little bugs or mosquitoes getting inside. The staff were nice. There was some road noise in the morning. The restaurant looked like it could be very good, though we didn't try it.

The rooms are practical, with a good bed and the basic bathroom facilities, though there’s no refrigerator. The place is very close to the highway, perhaps a little too close. We enjoyed the food, the pleasant terrace and the breakfast room’s distinctive oriental decor. It’s a cosy, friendly place, and Martine, the owner, is wonderful. The staff are cheerful too.

Loved the fish, and the starters and desserts were great too. The place has a really cosy, rustic feel. Starters were a bit pricey, though, and the punsch was a sugar bomb.

There’s plenty of room to park, and this very Bavarian restaurant has a big focus on fish dishes. My favorite was the Chiemsee Fisch, served with baked Irish potatoes and salad. Try one of the good Bavarian beers too, like their Weissbier.

The portions are generous, and the food is amazing. It isn’t the cheapest place, but the quality makes up for the price. The staff are exceptional. I’ll be back year after year, and I highly recommend it.
