The kitchen is lovely, with beautiful interiors, and it’s a great place to cook together. The rooms are big and have bathrooms, and the welcome was friendly without making the stay expensive. There’s a winter garden full of plants, animals, and things for children to do, plus an outdoor fireplace for a romantic evening. Lots of ways to get out into nature here, or just slow down and relax in the beautiful north of Germany.

We found this place on HomeAway as a stop on our way to Sweden, and it worked really well for all eight of us. The owners were so friendly and showed us around, including the old Deuz tractor. There’s a converted old glasshouse where you can sit and relax, and plenty of outdoor spots around the farm, including a raised platform out in the fields with a lovely view over the grassland. Inside, the bedrooms are spacious, with a large kitchen and a comfortable sitting area. Such a nice stay, many thanks!

I’ve stayed there twice now and still think the holiday apartment is fantastic. The landlady is lovely too. We’ll definitely come back!
