Pferdefreunde Loberhof

The farm and its animals are cared for so well, and there’s plenty to do in the surrounding area. We stayed in a spacious, modern apartment, and the hosts made us feel very welcome.

The kids were happiest outside, watching the horses being groomed, petting the goats, and playing on the fenced playground with the little vehicles. After we arranged it with the hosts, the girls even got to ride their pony. We also used the apartment as a base for the Playmobil FunPark, Wille Children's Zoo, and the Children's Museum in Nuremberg. It was a lovely short break, and we felt welcome on the farm as well as in the apartment. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and the place was equipped really well. The cleanliness was beyond anything I’d experienced before.

The mattresses let the place down a little, some felt worn and made squeaky noises. Still, this is a great small farm for families, even with young children. The hostess was friendly and helpful, and the modern apartment had everything we needed. Ansbach is only a few minutes away, while Nuremberg and Rothenburg ob der Tauber are around half an hour by car. I’d recommend staying here.

The kids were thrilled to ride the horses, and the little colorful playground right by the apartment was another favorite. The owner was incredibly kind and friendly. We were four adults and two small children, and the spacious, clean apartment worked perfectly for all six of us. There are lots of options for day trips, including Rothenburg ob der Tauber and the Playmobil FunPark. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it.
