10/10
The room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast had plenty of good choices. The location is great. We mentioned a couple of room issues when checking out, and the staff took note. Better signs pointing to reception and parking would help.

6/10
The service is good, and breakfast is a good option for an extra fee. It's close to the shopping center and the River Cruise ports. The rooms feel dated and a bit tired.

A good restaurant with a rooftop terrace made this a convenient overnight stop on our way from Germany to Italy. Our room was under the roof and had no air conditioning, so it got very hot. Check for AC when you book.

2/10
I couldn't sleep at all one night because a couple in the room next to or above mine was extremely loud while having sex. The sound insulation seemed very poor. It made the stay uncomfortable, and better soundproofing or closer attention to guest behavior would improve things for everyone. It was a disappointing experience, and I don't think I'd stay here again.

4/10
I used to stay here regularly on trips to Italy and for appointments in Basel. The restaurant and reception are nice and tidy, but the quality is declining. The rooms clearly need maintenance, and a hotel without air conditioning feels out of date now.
