B&B Hotel Weil am Rhein/Basel

I needed to get to Basel, just across the bridge, so the location worked really well for me. I spent one night here in October and had a great experience. The reception staff were polite and welcoming, and the room on the 7th floor had a nice view. It was so quiet and cosy, exactly what I needed to rest while tired. The room was warm, clean, bright, modern, and spacious enough. The wifi was great too. I really couldn’t have asked for more, and I’d definitely recommend it.

Breakfast had plenty of choice and the food was good. Reception also worked out the airport travel time for me and called a taxi. I arrived quite late for my one-night booking, and they welcomed me warmly, even pointing me to a local bar where I could get a much-needed drink. The room was spotless, neat, and comfortable. Their helpful attitude and quick, reliable service really stood out. I’d certainly recommend this hotel to business travellers, and left completely satisfied.

There’s a shopping mall called Rhein Center directly across from the hotel, with a hypermarket called Marktkauf inside that stays open until 10pm Monday to Saturday. Turkish restaurants and supermarkets are also nearby for meals and groceries. It’s a clean, affordable 3 star hotel in Germany, near the borders of Switzerland 🇨🇭, France 🇫🇷 and Germany 🇩🇪.

We used this clean, comfortable, basic hotel as our base for visiting Basel and Colmar during Xmas. Keep in mind that staying here doesn’t get you a Basel card, so public transport will cost more.
