Ferienhaus Wetzel

The host even picked apples and pears from the garden with the children. That was a lovely touch. The house itself has loads of room and sits on the mountain, about a five-minute walk from the village center and the nearest hiking trail. It was spotless and had everything we needed, from a playroom and kitchenware to Wi-Fi throughout and hairdryers in both bathrooms. There’s tons of storage, a fantastic shower, and a bathtub in the other bathroom. The garden sandbox and toys were great too. Simply a dream!

The Wenzel family has thought of all the everyday essentials, and we were glad to find the apartment clean and practically furnished. It’s in a lovely central location. Thanks again, we’d happily stay here another time.

The rain lasted nearly our whole stay, so we never got to try the garden’s swing set, slide, and other equipment. That was the only downside. We were ten people in the large apartment and felt so at home that we’re already planning a return. Mr. Wetzel was very hospitable and accommodating. There’s a huge living room, a roomy eat-in kitchen, and a bathroom on the ground floor, plus a room with a bunk bed, foosball table, PlayStation and games, and even a SingStar microphone. The teenagers loved it, and so did the men. Upstairs are three bedrooms, another bathroom with a huge shower, and a separate toilet. The place is huge, very clean, and incredibly well equipped. It really has everything!

Weiler im Allgäu is a great base for activities. The local hat factory and hat museum are always interesting, and Sulzberg is very close by.
