Apartment HAUS MERLIN am Böckelsberg

It’s a very peaceful spot, and the owners are friendly. A lovely place to stay with a really good breakfast. Highly recommended.

The welcome was friendly, and the apartment was explained clearly. On the table were fresh grapes, a pear, beer and/or water, and some snacks, a thoughtful touch that many other places could learn from. I was pleasantly surprised by this little apartment. It had everything I could want, and I’ll definitely stay here again.

The garden around the house is beautifully landscaped and clearly cared for with love. In summer, you can sit outside in the garden or on the terrace. We also bought a jar of the hosts’ homemade quince and pear jam. We stayed one night in November and were welcomed by two affectionate cats and a very kind host. The apartment is in the main house but has its own entrance. It’s compact and really cozy, with thoughtful extras everywhere: sweets, mini-champagne, beer, water, and fruit. The beds can be set up as one bed if you prefer. There’s a desk and coffee table, and the kitchenette has a kettle, coffee maker, microwave, fridge, and dishes.

A very cozy, well-kept and clean apartment in a quiet spot, with a lovely garden and free parking. Breakfast had plenty of variety. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the town center, and the brewpub is around six minutes away.
