Hotel-Pension am Goethehaus

Friendly staff and good value for money. Breakfast had a wide selection, though the room is fairly small and it can take a while to get everything. The hotel isn't wheelchair accessible, with lots of stairs, steps and thresholds. The rooms are spacious and clean, with a large shower. We missed having a kettle in the room. Some corners and furniture are a bit worn if you look closely, but that didn't bother us. The TV light was very bright at night, so we covered it.

We loved the central location and the large, clean room with its fantastic view of Frauenplan. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and parking in the courtyard felt safe and was reasonably priced. Highly recommended. The lack of an elevator didn't bother us. Young people gathering on Frauenplan at night in nice weather isn't the hotel's fault.

Our room had a charming little balcony, and although the bathroom is a bit dated, the price-performance ratio is excellent. The welcome was warm, and we were lucky to get a spot in the conservatory for breakfast, which was tasty and perfectly adequate. With its central location, the hotel is ideal for all sorts of activities. We'd gladly return and can absolutely recommend it.

The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were lovely and especially clean. We felt completely at ease during our weekend in Weimar, helped by the hotel's fantastic location. Breakfast was included, very good, and had plenty of choice for everyone. We'd definitely come back. Thank you!
