The receptionist really made this stay memorable. My taxi was booked for 5:50 in the morning and never arrived, so she drove me to the station in her own car. I was already impressed by how kind the staff were, but that was above and beyond. Huge thanks to her and the team. The hotel itself is cozy, with a good breakfast and both standard rooms and aparthotel rooms.

We were very, very happy here. Tea and coffee were available throughout the day, and breakfast was tasty in an attractive room. The staff were friendly too. Our cozy, comfortable room had a high ceiling and looked out over Wielandplatz. Everything was within walking distance.

Amalienhof worked brilliantly as a base for exploring Weimar, with galleries, museums, restaurants and park walks all easy to reach. We chose it again because it’s close to the Christmas Markets, having stayed before, and we were pleased with the decision. The rooms were sumptuous, the staff attentive and breakfast decent. We stopped over twice on this year’s Christmas trip back to Poland to see the in-laws. Thanks, guys. We’ll recommend it and return on future trips to the area.

I’ve been here several times this year for work, and the staff have been friendly and welcoming every time. The rooms are cozy, the location is practical, and the breakfast buffet is delicious and clearly prepared with care. A lovely hotel.
