I had to change plans because of a family emergency and couldn’t find a hotel in Jena. Savina hotel by the train station in Weimer was my last-minute option, since I needed to get to Jena by 8 am every day. After I booked a nonrefundable room, one of the two dozen hotels I’d called rang me back with an offer. I spoke with the staff at Savina, and they were incredibly understanding and let me cancel without a charge. If I travel to Weimer again, I’d definitely try to book there.

We felt very comfortable here. The rooms were clean and laid out well, and the historic house has been beautifully renovated.
