Hotel Kaiserin Augusta

The room was large and clean, but much too warm inside even though it was 18 celsius outside and the heating was off. During my four nights, the room wasn't cleaned at all. There is no free parking. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good. The hotel is opposite the central station, about a 10 min walk from the city centre, with some good restaurants nearby.

For a quick stay in Weimar, this is a good choice, with good prices and quick, polite service. It's right at the station in a nice building. Some parts of the hotel are clearly dated, but everything is well cared for. A perfectly fine, typical German provincial hotel.

I felt welcome here. The room was tidy and well organized, and there is a neat restaurant inside where you can eat whenever you want. Staff were friendly, and the location is very convenient, right opposite the main train station, so it was easy to find when I arrived. Recommended!

The room worked well for two nights, though it was tiny, and the bathroom felt like being in a wardrobe. The building looks impressive outside, and the lobby and restaurant area is lovely inside. Everyone at the front desk and in the restaurant was friendly. Even the chef smiled when he came out during breakfast. Breakfast was super nice, though the coffee could be better.
