A quiet location, a very friendly landlord, and all the amenities we needed. This is a lovely vacation apartment.

There was plenty of room for four in the two bedrooms and the kitchen-living area, and the house was comfortable and well equipped. It's been lovingly renovated, and was clean, too. The owners were helpful and very good with children: they offered a travel cot and safety gate, and let us use the sandbox. We highly recommend this holiday home.

The Palatinate area, with its wine route and charming villages, seems especially suited to vacationers aged 45 and over. As for the house, it works very well for four people and is well equipped. There were a few small things to improve, such as securing the hairdryer properly. The listing mentions a terrace, but there isn't one; there's a seating area in the courtyard instead. We were told we were the first guests. The landlords were friendly, reachable, and accommodating, but never intrusive. When we asked, they gave us hiking suggestions and a trail guidebook. We give the house five stars, and the landlords five stars for their friendliness and accessibility.
