The food was the letdown here, and the price felt much too high for what we got. My separately ordered side salad was mostly iceberg lettuce, about 80%, and had no dressing. The trout with potato salad wasn't any better: the fish was a frozen mess, though the potato salad was okay. The salmon fillet with vegetables and boiled potatoes also seemed almost certainly frozen, apart from the potatoes, and the vegetables were especially sparse. The inn itself is classically furnished and clean, and the service was friendly.

I've returned to this hotel several times, partly because it's so central and the rooms are bright, clean, and roomy. There's a little kitchenette with a stove, coffee maker, kettle, dishes, and cutlery, plus a small fridge that always has a bottle of water in it. The staff are friendly and payment is easy. You can cancel at short notice, up to one day beforehand.
