The facilities were clean, but the service felt low end for the premium prices. Staff were polite, but seemed unsure which facilities were reachable or open, and housekeeping stopped after noon. The half board food was like a school cafeteria, and the food served at the only open restaurant between noon and 4 felt like a rip-off. A schnitzel swimming in oil, soup, two cappuccinos, and a bottle of water came to €94, and even the steak house wasn’t available before 17:30. The spa services were below average for a first class price tag. Four stars for what? We left two days early and won’t come back. Maybe people over 60 enjoy the health facilities and the food, but we’re a couple around 30 and didn’t like it.

It felt too expensive to me. The pools were smaller than I expected, and there were no jacuzzi pools. It was also cold once I got out of the water, so sitting around while wet wasn’t pleasant. The best pool is in the GesundZeit part, with its salty water. All in all, I don’t think it’s worth the money.

So peaceful, and the colors were beautiful. We loved the delicious restaurant and the swim up bar. Everything felt gentle, from the water pressure to the heat.

We were there in January 2017, when the place was still new and construction was being finished. The outdoor saunas have different, nicely done styles. I especially liked the Bier Sauna.

The food is good, and the staff are helpful. It's a high-quality place, though getting there can be tricky on weekends since there's no public transport. The hotel doesn't offer a shuttle to the nearest train station either, which is about 24 km away.
