About this property
This hotel offers a sauna and indoor swimming pool and enjoys a peaceful location in Rudersberg, in the heart of the Swabian Forest. Hotel Sonne Garni features modern rooms with solid wooden furniture, a mini-bar, and a flat-screen TV. Some rooms also include a balcony. A hearty buffet breakfast is provided each morning in the hotel’s inviting restaurant. While the restaurant, hotel bar, and recreation area are currently under renovation following flood damage in June 2024, overnight accommodations with breakfast, parking, and Wi-Fi will be available again starting October 1, 2024. Guests can look forward to Swabian specialties and a varied menu of international dishes upon the restaurant's reopening. The picturesque town of Schondorf is 6. 5 miles from the hotel. Free on-site parking is available.

The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, and the people there were helpful and cooperative. It's right by the main highway and has a railway station, yet it stays very quiet. Rudesberg is a nice hotel with good amenities.

The food was excellent, and the hosts spoke English really well. My room was comfortable, if a little plain. I'd happily stay again.

A lovely hotel. The rooms in the new wing are larger, so try to get one there.
