The location and parking are excellent, and for Sylt the price is acceptable. Still, there were quite a few problems inside: the 160 cm bed was much too small for two, something I couldn't tell from the Booking.com listing. There wasn't enough room for clothes, and the living room shelves weren't very useful. Cooking for ourselves now and then was awkward too. The walls have been dirty since the apartment opened in February, the armchairs were grimy, and the cleaning had been poor, with dead flies and dusty dirt left behind.

Düne Ost was a fantastic base for our last Sylt holiday. My companion and I found the apartment spacious and thoughtfully furnished, with everything we needed. It was all clean, and the location was excellent. After we asked, the owner even gave us two more dishwasher tablets. We'd happily come back.

We felt very comfortable in the Weisse Düne apartment and would gladly stay again. Shops, restaurants, and the beach are all easy to reach on foot, and the location is hard to beat. Inside, the bathroom was modern and clean, the living room bright, and the bedroom cozy. The tasteful kitchen was fully equipped, including a dishwasher, Nespresso machine, toaster, and more.

The location is almost unbeatable, and when we pointed out the loose toilet seat and squeaky doors in Dune 5, they were fixed or oiled right away. The bedrooms, though, are really tiny. The larger one has no space for even a chair to put things on, and the smaller one has a 140 cm bed under a sloping ceiling, so two adults definitely couldn't sleep there. A little saucepan for morning eggs would help, since there are only large pans. The amenities were otherwise adequate, though we missed a dishwasher tablet and even a tea light, things we've had in other rentals.
