The staff made our stay, especially Marc and Christian. When we got a flat tire while biking in the countryside with our kids, Marc understood how tricky it was and helped us work out what to do. Christian came out in a station wagon and managed to fit my son's bike and my husband's bike in the car. In a place where special requests often get an immediate "no," these two were superheroes of "yes!" Breakfast was lovely every morning: fresh bread, tasty little muesli pots, cold cuts and cheese, local apple juice, honey, jams, butter, and a giant pot of coffee. The apartment was small by square metres, but the bright, clever layout meant it didn't feel cramped. The half-basement bedroom is wonderful if you like a really dark place to sleep. The kitchen was very sparsely equipped compared with other holiday apartments I've stayed in, with just enough cookware for a basic meal, so plan to eat out. I bought a small knife and spatula at the grocery store. Bring slippers in winter too, because the brick floor looks classic but is very cold. We were a family of four staying over Easter weekend and had a great time. We didn't eat at the restaurant, though it looked lovely. I definitely recommend staying here!

Eating there was a real pleasure. The food was exquisite in both presentation and taste, and the Pinot Noir Rose was perfect too. I'm not sure German holidaymakers fully appreciate what they have. Chef, if you're reading this, you're doing a great job, so don't give in to mediocrity!

We just had lunch and really enjoyed it. The local tapas were interesting, and the staff were super friendly. It's a cosy, lovely spot to sit on the plaza.

The staff are very friendly, and the place is clean and comfortable. A really nice place to stay. I'd come back and strongly recommend this hotel.
