The owners were so friendly and accommodating, and the house had everything we needed. We especially liked the cozy living room and well-equipped kitchen. It’s just outside the city by the forest. We’d happily stay here again.

We were impressed by how warmly the Baumgarten family welcomed us. The place is peaceful by the Zillierbach stream, but still central and close to town. It’s a cozy, thoughtfully furnished home, with plenty to do in and around Wernigerode if you want to get out. We’ve stayed in lots of holiday homes and apartments, and would gladly return to this one. A lovely choice for couples or small families looking to unwind.

The landlords were lovely, and everything was just right. We’d come back. The house is nicely furnished, with a great garden, a pleasant terrace, and a balcony at the front. The driveway is a little narrow, but manageable.

The bungalow is well looked after inside and out, and there’s parking right in front. It sits on the edge of the forest, close to Wernigerode’s historic center. The owners live on the neighboring property and are available if you have questions or need to work something out. Highly recommended.
