We're staying here through January 2nd, 2026, and I wanted to leave a review already. The owners have thought of everything, and we feel completely at home in this beautiful house. If we could, we'd give it more than five stars. ❤️

The Hasserode train station is right next door, and that's where the Brocken Railway stops. There is also a pretty good bus connection into Wernigerode, which is a lovely little town. The holiday home itself is beautiful, with chickens in the garden and a pool guests can use. It has three bedrooms, though one is a walk-through room, and the whole ground floor has underfloor heating. The mattress in the upstairs bedroom was softer than I like, but I still slept well.
