The location is excellent, right in the centre of Werningerode, and there are parking spaces on site. It’s a small hotel with full service, spacious and beautifully decorated rooms, a nice breakfast, and very friendly staff.

It’s a great base for exploring the old town on foot. The rooms are beautifully furnished and suited to a shorter stay, and the shower room has everything you need. Very clean, with an easy, friendly key handover using a code and safe. Breakfast was served in a pleasant room with pretty tableware. There was a good variety on the buffet, including fresh rolls and delicious bread, and the service was friendly.

The city center location is prime, and I could see Brocken mountain from my room. It was quiet despite the view, and there was plenty of parking. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was clean. Whether pocket spring mattresses are still ideal is debatable, but I was very satisfied and thought the price-performance ratio was good. Highly recommended.

The staff made us feel at home straight away. Rooms, breakfast, and parking were all excellent, and the old town is an easy walk away. A great place to stay while exploring Wernigerode.
