The staff were courteous, and parking was satisfactory. The property was clean, and playing golf there was a pleasant experience. Still, at 179 euros per night for a double room, I expected at least the standard of a four-star hotel. I had higher expectations for a hotel associated with the Golf brand, but the bathroom fell short: old, low-quality tiles, a washbasin outside the room, and poor lighting. Not for me.

The location is very good, close to several outlets and supermarkets. The hotel is lovely, and all the staff are friendly and helpful. I especially remember Madam Andrea Kunz for the effort she put into providing a great breakfast.

The lake is still empty, which was disappointing, but the hotel itself was great. Dinner buffet and breakfast were both nice, and the sauna was pleasant, though busy. Staff were friendly and the service was good. Check-in went smoothly, and when we reported bad plumbing in our original room, they efficiently moved us to another. There was also secure, convenient bike storage.

The rooms are pricey, especially considering that the bathrooms feel like something from a 2 star hotel. The location does work well for playing golf.

We spent a great weekend here with friends. The rooms aren't new, but they were clean and had a great view. Staff were very friendly and did their best to make our stay relaxed and enjoyable. Breakfast was great, and we had dinner once, a very good buffet. We played golf all three days, and the welcome we got at the Wiesensee club was amazing too. If you like a beautiful, challenging golf course in this lovely part of Germany, it's a must.
